Trail running, in the winter?!?
Remember when you were a kid, after that big snow hit and you couldn't wait to get outside? You would pull on your jacket, boots and gloves and spend hours playing in the fluffy white stuff.
Winter is the best time for trail running in Colorado. No crowded trails, no rattlesnakes and you definitely won't overheat!
Imagine running through forest and field, where sparkling snow blankets the branches and the crisp mountain air refreshes the soul.
This run will be an adventure like no other and you will leave with a greater appreciation for all the wonderful seasons in Colorado!
This 10ish mile trail race is in Evergreen Colorado on February 25th. Run entry includes a tee, finishers medal, hot coffee and hot chocolate and a brew from the Evergreen Brewery and taphouse!
Also thanks to our sponsors and partners the Alpine Rescue Team, Salomon Running, Runners Roost, and Boone Mountain Sports for supporting the event and for providing some great prizes and giveaways to the runners!
Orange Mud will also be out demoing their lightweight, no bounce packs!
